Local Eldership
These individuals serve as the local eldership for our congregation. We believe that an elder must be one called to the five-fold ministry, has take the proper steps to prepare himself or herself for that office and have received credentials for ministry.

Michael K. Lake, Th.D, D.R.E. Dr. Lake is known for his "where the rubber meets the road" preaching style. He brings a wealth of theological/biblical concepts into the realm of "how to really live them" in the life of the believer. His goal is to help believers to be strengthened and to honor God by living His Word in every situation in life. |

Mary L. Lake Prophetic Intercessor/Women's Elder Mary is a gifted warrior in the LORD that moves in prophetic intercession. She is blessed with a true spiritual "mothering" anointing that wants to see all believers free from all bondages and to mature to their full potential in the LORD. |

A. Michael Rodhouse, B.A. Pastor Pastor Rodhouse has been working closely with Dr. Lake since 1998, serving as registrar for BLCS, as an associate pastor and worship leader. Before joining the Biblical Life team, he worked full-time in various pastoral and worship leader functions. He has also traveled internationally leading worship for an itinerant minister. In 1998, God set Michael free of childhood wounds that he had suffered from for nearly 20 years. From this breakthrough, he discovered what he loves to do most: preach the Word of God and being a pastor. Michael loves delivering the Word in a relevant, exciting form to see folks set free like he was! Michael is currently pursuing the Master of Divinity through BLCS. |

Elders in training are individuals within our local congregation that have been recognized as being called to the five-fold ministry. They have now begun the educational journey and local mentorship needed to gain credentials for ministry. We have several men now preparing for eldership within our local body. |
